Xan Owens (they/them) is a multi-passionate creative specializing in art, graphic design, and creative writing. In the ten years since establishing themself as an artistic professional, Xan has created brand-oriented designs for solopreneurs, startups, small businesses, nonprofit organizations, activist groups, political campaigns, entertainers, higher education institutions, and more.Xan holds a B.A. in Sociology and a B.A. in Gender Studies from Colorado State University. This education informs their approach to art, work, and life, particularly as a white person descended from early European settlers in the so-called United States. They live and work on the ancestral lands of the Tséstho’e (Cheyenne), Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ̱ (Ute), and Hinono'eiteen (Arapahoe) Nations and peoples, currently known as Northern Colorado, with their partner, bonus son, and three spoiled animals.
